I knew after our first meeting that Emily’s wedding was going to be a stunner! She came in with her planner, Michelle, with Events by Elle, and a hand full of inspiration photos. We talked about her classic style and love for ginger jars. She knew she really wanted to incorporate them on the tables (a girl after my own heart 😉 ).
As the months rolled by and we worked through our design process, I learned about her love of Nell Hills and traditional design with a twist, and her desire for the atmosphere to inspire intimate conversation, like an intimate dinner party. We decided on blue and white ginger jars for the low centerpieces and oversized “boxwood topiary” arrangements for the tall tables. Blue and white geometric linens added color to our tall tables. For the escort card table and head table, we used ginger jars and blue and white china from Emily and her mom’s personal collection.
Emily told me that she and Zach wanted to feel present and bursting with joy on their wedding day. While I didn’t have the opportunity to see her that day, it’s clear from the photos that they were just that.
